SummaryKapur is seeking a Construction Project Supervisor based in Indiana (Fort Wayne, Jeffersonville, Brownsburg). The Construction Project Supervisor will oversee and lead construction oversight and inspection projects working closely with Engineers and Architects.
Responsibilities

• Plan and supervise a wide range of construction oversight and inspection projects from start to finish
• Monitor construction schedule and activities
• Coordinate efforts across entire project between designers, engineers, and subcontractors
• Draft and submit budget based on scope of work and resource requirements
• Collaborate with engineers, architects etc. to determine the specifications of the project
• Evaluate progress and prepare detailed reports
• Inspect construction work to ensure compliance with building standards and project specifications
• Review plans to identify potential violations
• Document inspections and report any issues
• Determine the quality of materials being used through testing
• Evaluate plans and specifications for construction projects to ensure conformance with regulations
• Conduct field inspections
• Maintain and submit inspection reports daily
• Ensure everything in accordance with approved drawings
• Maintain records of documentation

    Qualifications/Education
    • Bachelor's degree in Building Construction, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or Architecture preferred
    • 5+ years of experience in project management within construction
    • Comfortable reading and understanding specifications and drawings
    • High degree of familiarity with contract and subcontract documents, terms, and conditions
    • Familiarity with construction/ project management software
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office and general computer software
    • Demonstrated knowledge of construction, engineering, and architecture principles
    • Ability to budget, schedule, negotiate, and control costs
