Responsibilities
Our portfolio includes a diverse range of clients with a range of
objectives. We serve urban, rural, and suburban school districts;
traditional public, charter, and private schools; state education
agencies; educational foundations; and professional associations
throughout the U.S., Canada, and Europe. The team partners with
superintendents, state commissioners, district administrators,
principals, teachers, parents, and communities alike to realize
clients' vision for a safer educational environment.
Overall Responsibilities :
PCG is currently seeking a Consultant to work for our national
threat assessment team. This position can be remote or affiliated
with one of our offices. Travel is expected to work with clients
across the country. The Consultant works in a fast-paced, dynamic
environment alongside subject matter experts, project management,
and operations staff within the Education Strategies (ES) practice.
This position provides motivated individuals an opportunity to
contribute to the success of exciting educational initiatives
nationally. Specific projects will include implementation and
training on PCG's market leading threat assessment case management
platform, initiative development, business process reviews, writing
of proposals and marketing material, research and analysis, and
implementation support.
Specific Responsibilities :
Provide client and project management:
Serve as a contact for ongoing communications with clients.
Manage internal project teams and ensure that established project
management processes and structures are appropriately
implemented.
Manage project plan and coordinate timelines, due dates,
assignments, and workflow.
Develops and maintains project budgets, including client
invoicing
Participate in and organize planning meetings, status meetings, and
other meetings as needed.
Contribute to on-site meetings and other activities with
clients.
Establish and maintain project collaboration sites (e.g., using
SharePoint).
Prepare client contracts and ensure project legal documents are
completed and signed.
Communicate with staff and clients as needed throughout the
contracting process to secure contracts in a timely manner.
Prepare project status reports for management and for clients.
Collect, analyze, present, and act upon data:
Coordinate data collection efforts including acquisition of student
data, survey data, and other data relevant to our projects.
Organize and carry out all aspects of survey production and
processing, including formatting, printing, distribution,
collection, and analysis.
Generate spreadsheets, tables, and graphs to effectively and
attractively present data for clients.
Use advanced features of Excel to expedite data analysis, including
complex formulas, linking worksheets, lookups, pivot tables,
macros, and charts.
Assist with written reports and other materials for clients.
Contribute to proposal and business development:
Assist proposal teams, including writing sections, coordinating
efforts, and preparing proposal submissions.
Manage the proposal development process, including the development
schedule, staff assignments, documentation requirements,
production, and timely delivery.
Regularly scan the environment for new RFPs and other
opportunities.
Participate in business development efforts, including contributing
to conferences, marketing campaigns, presentations, and sales
meetings.
Contribute to the organization:
Conduct and act upon analysis in service of projects and the
business line.
Develop a thorough understanding of our products and services.
Communicate regularly about client projects with the project team.
Keep team apprised of changes within the organization and general
corporate news.
Capture and share knowledge accrued and lessons learned throughout
the lifecycle of projects.
Suggest areas for improvement in internal processes, operations,
and client services, along with possible solutions.
Comply with and help to enforce standard policies and
procedures.
Participate in special assignments as needed.

Compensation
Compensation for roles at Public Consulting Group varies depending
on a wide array of factors including, but not limited to, the
specific office location, role, skill set, and level of
experience.---
As required by applicable law, PCG provides the following
reasonable range of compensation for this role: $60,000 - $129,373
.
In addition, PCG provides a range of benefits for this role.
