Parking and Transportation Services (PTS) is a division of
Auxiliary Services on the IUPUI campus. We are committed to

Job Summary
The Parking and Transpiration Services (PTS) Customer Service
Specialist is responsible for providing exceptional customer
service to members of our community who park in various garage
facilities on campus. This position is highly visible and requires
strong interpersonal skills and the ability to remain professional
in all situations.

This role requires the ability to remain in a stationary position
as well as the ability to move about the workplace for long
durations. It requires effective communication, the ability to
operate machinery, tools, and controls. The role requires the
ability to ascend/descend ladders/stairs, and to position one's
self in low level positions, detect a variety of chemicals and/or
gases. The role requires the ability to ascend to rooftops and move
in tight spaces to perform and complete inspections.
The majority of time will be spent outdoors and there is possible
exposure to extreme hot or cold temperatures. Ability to move items
of minimum of 25 pounds, but not more than 50 pounds. Risk of
bodily injury from mechanical parts, electricity, etc. Possible
exposure to fumes, odors, etc. that may affect respiration and
skin. Job may induce stress when dealing with upset/irate
customers. Must be able to perform essential job duties with or
without reasonable accommodation.

Advertised Salary
The gross hourly rate for this position is $15.00 per hour, or
$31,200 gross annually.
