Under the direction of the Manager of Enterprise Chargemaster, the Enterprise Chargemaster Analyst maintains an accurate and compliant chargemaster. -
You'll enjoy the flexibility to telecommute* from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges. -
Primary Responsibilities:


  • Works collaboratively with peers and managers, throughout the NLH members, including but not limited to coding, PFS and charge services IT to assure the integrity of enterprise-wide chargemaster
  • Contributes to process improvement initiatives within the enterprise revenue cycle by recognizing process improvement opportunities and assists with conducting root cause analyses
  • Works collaboratively with peers and managers to facilitate an understanding of current charge methodology, and regulatory requirements
  • Maintains a compliant enterprise chargemaster for accurate and optimal reimbursement in accordance with regulatory guidance and Guiding Principles document
  • Maintains a working knowledge of guiding principles, regulatory mandates, and payer requirements and applies understanding in the maintenance of the enterprise chargemaster
  • Routinely assists with performing internal audits of the enterprise chargemaster and addresses variances in a timely manner
  • Addresses findings in external audits in a timely manner
  • Collaborates with The Buonopane Group to maintain strategic pricing
  • Works under the direction of CDM Manager and Lead Analysts to prepare file for yearly price changes and regulatory coding changes
  • Keeps abreast of current regulatory guidance and attends local conferences/seminars to remain current
  • Provides support for implementation and testing

    • 2+ years of progressive, relevant knowledge in hospital revenue cycle operations
    • Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft business applications with intermediate excel skill level required
    • 1+ years of experience utilizing technological solutions to improve processes and systems

      Preferred Qualifications:

      • 2+ years of experience in hospital chargemaster methodology and maintenance
      • 2+ years of experience following regulatory guidance, working with government and commercial payer regulations related to hospital revenue cycle

        • Provides excellent customer service
        • Intermediate interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
        • Ability to manage multiple projects and affective prioritization
        • Ability to complete time sensitive projects and work both independently and collaboratively
        • Ability to handle difficult and stressful situations with professional composure
