matter.Job DetailsAs a sourcing Specialist, you will play a pivotal
role in managing and optimizing our material (direct and indirect),
services and operational expenses. Your primary responsibility will
be to establish and operate a Spend Control Tower, leveraging your
expertise to monitor spend, identify cost-saving opportunities, and
ensure efficient procurement processes.Responsibilities of the job
include:
- Spend Control Tower Setup: Lead the implementation and
configuration of a Spend Control Tower, including the selection of
appropriate tools and technologies.
- Expense Analysis: Utilize the Spend Control Tower to analyze
historical and current operational expenses, identifying
cost-saving opportunities and areas for improvement.
- Vendor Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships
with key suppliers, negotiate favorable contracts, and monitor
supplier performance through the Spend Control Tower.
- Cost Reduction: Implement strategies, leveraging Spend Control
Tower data, to reduce operational expenses while maintaining or
improving service quality.
- Procurement Strategy: Collaborate with cross-functional teams
to develop and execute procurement strategies aligned with the
company's financial goals, using insights from the Spend Control
Tower.
- Contract Management: Draft, review, and manage contracts within
the Spend Control Tower to ensure compliance and favorable
terms.
- Data Analysis: Leverage Spend Control Tower data for in-depth
analysis, generate insights, and provide recommendations to
stakeholders.
- Budget Compliance: Ensure that procurement activities are in
line with the approved budget and financial forecasts.
- Process Optimization: Continuously improve procurement
processes and workflows using insights from the Spend Control Tower
to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
- Reporting: Generate reports and KPIs from the Spend Control
Tower to track cost savings, supplier performance, and procurement
metrics.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand technical
product specifications and manufacturing processes to ensure
sourcing strategies align with organizational needs. Key

- Inventory turnoverQualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain
Management, or a related field. Master's degree or professional
certifications (e.g., CSCP, CIPS) is a plus
- 3 years+ of related work experience in a purchasing and
sourcing, preferably with a focus on operational expenses
management
- Proven track record in setting up and managing a Spend Control
Tower
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret
financial data
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build and
maintain relationships with suppliers and internal
stakeholders
- Proficiency in procurement software and tools (MS Dynamics
etc.), particularly those related to Spend Control Tower
implementation (e.g., Spend Analytics, eProcurement systems).
- Strong project management skills and the ability to work in a
cross-functional team environment
- Knowledge of industry best practices and regulatory compliance
related to procurement
- Must be fluent in English and legally authorized to work in the
