DetailsDepartment: Neurology Intermediate Care UnitSchedule
Part- Time - day shift - 7 am - 7:30 pm - 12 hr shifts - every 3rd
weekendHospital: Ascension St. VincentLocation: Indianapolis, INThe
Inpatient Neurology Unit is active in Progressive Medical and
Surgical patient care.Our nurses provide care to a highly acute
population of neurological and neurosurgical patients in a
fast-paced environment. Majority of the patients arrive through the
Emergency Department or as a stepdown from our Trauma Neuro
Intensive Care Unit. As a valued member of our team, you will have

specifics.ResponsibilitiesPerform basic clinical and non-clinical
patient care activities under supervision.Aid with movement and
placement of patients.Assist patients with tending to personal care
and activities of daily living.Report findings or changes in
physical, mental and emotional conditions to nursing staff.
Document necessary records.Keep patient rooms clean, orderly, and
maintain medical equipment.RequirementsLicensure / Certification /
Registration:BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire
date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or
American Red Cross accepted.Education:High School diploma
equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific
experience required.Note: Required professional
licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or
experience, if applicable.Additional PreferencesStrongly prefer
recent acute care experience. Excellent Customer Service skills and
