Position Summary: The Talent Acquisition Consultant is a senior level role responsible for full life cycle recruiting for all level jobs, primarily focused on mid to senior level requisitions. This position works with senior leadership within the company to identify future staffing needs, anticipate recruitment trends, and create pipelining strategies. The Talent Acquisition Consultant specializes in recruiting talent in niche areas with advanced market knowledge and sourcing abilities. This position will be the primary point of contact for candidate questions and seamlessly ensure a positive experience throughout all aspects of the candidate recruitment lifestyle. The Talent Acquisition Consultant will manage large Talent Acquisition program roll-outs and consistently evaluate the effectiveness of processes, making recommendations for future initiatives. Key Responsibilities: Talent Acquisition - 50% Full life-cycle recruitment across multiple businesses throughout the company Establish and maintain relationships with senior management, hiring managers, and HR partners across the company to understand intricate business needs to effectively source and facilitate the selection of quality candidates Develop and implement effective and comprehensive sourcing strategies for assigned requisitions Identify passive, senior level talent through non-traditional methods including social networking, AIRS techniques (Boolean, flipping, peeling, x-raying), cold calling and external networking Interview candidates using advanced behavioral techniques to determine most qualified candidate Manage interview and selection process to ensure superior candidate experience while providing strategic advice and counsel to senior executives Effectively assess candidate's probability of offer acceptance; identify other competing opportunities, conduct a complete review of the current compensation package to include incentives and negotiate final offer Proactively research & evaluate new sourcing ideas and methods as well as test and promote suitable new technology that adds value to hiring talent Create comprehensive sourcing strategies in accordance with established Affirmative Action Plans Mentor junior level team members Project Management - 20% Management of assigned Talent Acquisition program(s) to include pilot programs and enterprise-wide rollouts Work with all SLM locations in determining local best practices and optimal solution(s) for all pilots and program introductions or enhancements On regular basis, evaluate effectiveness of current practices, programs, or vendors and conduct due diligence on alternatives, make recommendation for future, and implement new program/processes as appropriate Development and Implementation of TA key initiatives as assigned Compliance and Controls - 10% Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures, paying close attention to Talent Acquisition specific desktop procedures Ensure that recruiting and hiring practices are compliant with all applicable local, state, and federal employment laws as well as OFCCP/EEOC guidelines Implement new desktop procedures and update current procedures pertaining to Talent Acquisition Identify opportunities to add additional controls as appropriate Reporting - 10% Utilize advanced reporting metrics for personal and team performance tracking as well as to establish actions plans and strategies. Prepares weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports as required Provides analysis of data and recommends appropriate course corrections Special Initiatives - 10% Lead special initiatives such as Campus Recruitment or new business staffing projects Develop strategies and manage process in representing company at related strategic events Education: Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or other related fields and/or equivalent work experience Experience: 7 progressive experience in Talent Acquisition with experience in placing executive and specialized positions, preferably working in a financial services environment 3 years project management experience Experience recruiting specialized and management levels roles Advanced knowledge of employment law and compliance standards (EEO, OFCCP, Affirmative Action) required Technology power user of LinkedIn Recruiter and Applicant Tracking Systems required Thorough knowledge of applicable Application Tracking Systems Advanced sourcing experience including social networking, Boolean, and external networking required Ability to effectively oversee and coordinate the regular update of required process and procedure documentation Skills & Abilities: Excellent oral/written communication skills with the demonstrated ability to effectively articulate complex issues to all audience levels Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office Ability to travel 25% EEO Employer Minority/Female/Disability/Veteran/Sexual Orientation/Gender Identity.
