I-CON Systems, Inc. (I-CON) is a--26 year old engineering and manufacturing company located in Oviedo, FL (10 minutes outside of Orlando, FL).--Our corporate offices and manufacturing operations are based out of a 55,000 SQF state-of-the-art facility.--I-CON is the leading manufacturer of intelligent plumbing controls in the penal and correctional industry.--We are looking for a motivated and experienced individual to work as an outside Sales Representative for the territories described herein, and which meets the requirements described below.The ideal candidate will prospect and generate new commercial business as well as perform cold-calls in the field to generate new permanent sales. This position will be responsible for initiating contact with, selling our products to, and maintaining relationships with all state and county correctional facilities and local architects and engineers within their assigned multi-state territory.--Also, our Sales Representatives are required to develop an in-depth knowledge of all I-CON products and applications, and will be responsible for performing on-site sample installations as requested by our customers or the Company. Sales Territory: IL, IN, KY, MI, TNResponsibilities* Identify leads, manage prospects and acquire new business* Service existing clients* Effectively demonstrate product line* Meet established goals for territory development and sales quotasQualifications* Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Sales or related field* Experience as a manufacturers rep. a plus* 2+ years' experience in cold calling sales with strong track record of success* Experience in developing and executing territory sales strategies* Strong presentation, negotiation, and closing skills* Self-motivated and able to work independently to meet or exceed goals* Due to the nature of the position 50-75% travel will be required.
