Job Description:The Customer Service Representative works in a key
position coordinating activities between the customer and carrier.
Successful Customer Service Representatives will be comfortable
working in a fast-paced environment, able to multi-task, meet time
sensitive deadlines and have sufficient computer skills. Customer
Service Representatives support the efforts of our Account Managers
and National Account Directors by providing visibility and
maintaining accurate documentation for all loads. Organization and
the ability to problem solve is essential to this position. This
position is responsible for ensuring that our customers receive
timely service from pickup to delivery.
- Provide exceptional customer service, routinely going the extra
mile to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Maintain excellent communication with customers and
- Provide customer contact via phone and email.
- Assist with customer inquiries and problem resolution.
- Accept and schedule load tenders.
- Build lanes and book loads.
- Daily entering of data and compiling/completing time sensitive
- Update customer TMS and provide Spot rates.
- Promote/maintain positive customer relationships.Skills:
- High school Diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in customer service, operations, data
entry, call center, dispatch, or logistics.
- Must have a strong attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritize, balance, and organize information while
completing multiple tasks.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously and take
initiative under ambiguous circumstances.
- Comfortable working in a high volume, fast paced, rapidly
changing, results-oriented work environment.
- Proficient computers skills with PC-based desktop applications,
such as Microsoft Office Suit.
