through philanthropy and volunteerism. Responsibilities AI Strategy
& Implementation Lead the evaluation, selection, and implementation
of AI tools, technologies, and software packages that will
streamline and enhance the quality of training content development
and delivery. In partnership with Global Learning Solutions, ensure
the successful launch of content functionality in the company’s
AI-enabled learning platform. Develop and maintain a strategic
roadmap for AI integration in L&D content processes, including
phased implementation plans with clear achievements and success
metrics. Champion innovation by staying current on emerging AI
trends in L&D, finding opportunities for competitive advantage,
and educating the Lilly global L&D community on tools and
leading practices. Content Development & Quality Assurance Optimize
the enterprise content development operating model. Be responsible
for content creation and revision workflows, ensuring quality,
consistency, accessibility, and alignment with GLCS brand
standards. Design and maintain content templates, prompt libraries,
and AI interaction guidelines for the team. Establish quality
control processes for all content, including review protocols and
approval workflows. Develop scalable frameworks for rapid course
development that maintain pedagogical effectiveness. Team
Enablement & Training Train and coach L&D team members on
effective use of AI tools, standard methodologies, and emerging
capabilities. Build internal AI-assisted content development
literacy across the organization through workshops, documentation,
and hands-on learning experiences. Create comprehensive resource
libraries including tutorials, case studies, and troubleshooting
guides. Provide ongoing change leadership and mentorship to drive
adoption and proficiency with new technologies, as well as ensuring
role clarity and effective collaborator management. Governance &
Risk Management Develop and maintain AI governance frameworks for
L&D content, including ethical guidelines, quality standards,
and human oversight protocols. Ensure compliance with the Lilly
Quality Management System, data privacy regulations, accessibility
standards, and industry-specific requirements. Establish
documentation standards and audit trails for AI-assisted content
development. Mange and resolve critical issues as needed and advise
on portfolio prioritization and tradeoffs. Innovation &
Experimentation Lead pilot programs to test new AI capabilities,
learning modalities, and technological innovations Explore and
implement sophisticated applications, including simulations,
personalized learning pathways, adaptive assessments, AI tutors,
and immersive experiences Develop a culture of experimentation and
data-driven continuous improvement within the L&D function
Collaborate cross-functionally with Global Learning Solutions,
Tech@Lilly, and business area L&D to scale learning innovations
organization-wide, reinforce new ways of working, and sustain
adoption. Basic Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Learning &
Development, Instructional Design, Educational Technology, Human
Resources, or related field. 5 years of experience leading learning
experience design and content creation for large global audiences.
2 years of hands-on experience working with AI tools for learning
(generative AI, Agentic AI, LLMs, AI-powered learning and authoring
platforms). Qualified applicants must be authorized to work in the
United States on a full-time basis. Lilly will not provide support

O-1, E-3, H-1B1, or L-1. Additional Skills/Preferences Experience
meeting compliance and regulatory requirements for training content
in regulated industries, including GXP environments. Consistent
record of successfully conducting new technologies and driving
adoption within organizations. Strong understanding of
instructional design principles, adult learning theory, visual
design, and content development methodologies. Experience with
learning management systems (LMS) and e-learning authoring tools.
Demonstrated ability to lead projects from conception through
implementation, including collaborator management and change
leadership. Excellent analytical skills with the ability to
translate data into actionable insights and recommendations. Strong
written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to
present sophisticated technical concepts to non-technical
audiences. Self-directed with the ability to work independently
while collaborating effectively across teams. Experience in
consulting or advisory roles, particularly in L&D or
organizational development contexts. Familiarity with prompt
engineering techniques, agents, and guidelines for working with
large language models. Knowledge of AI ethics, bias mitigation, and
responsible AI principles. Experience with learning analytics
platforms and data visualization tools. Experience with multimedia
content creation tools (video editing, graphic design, animation).
Experience designing to meet accessibility standards (WCAG)
applying inclusive design. Experience working in global or
multi-regional organizations. Familiarity with agile methodologies
and rapid prototyping approaches. Excellent interpersonal skills
include stakeholder management and influence. Additional

on a candidate’s education, experience, skills, and geographic
location. The anticipated wage for this position is $127,500 -
$204,600 Full-time equivalent employees also will be eligible for a
company bonus (depending, in part, on company and individual
performance). In addition, Lilly offers a comprehensive benefit
