Responsibilities: We are seeking a highly motivated postdoctoral
scientist with strong in vivo two photon imaging skills to perform
groundbreaking translational research in Alzheimer's disease. Your
work will focus on investigating mechanisms of amyloid
immunotherapy-related microhemorrhage in Alzheimer's disease using
in vivo two-photon imaging of amyloid mouse models. Investigate the
molecular and cellular processes underlying amyloid
immunotherapy-induced microhemorrhage using advanced in vivo
two-photon imaging techniques in real time Evaluate the
neuroinflammatory roles of central and peripheral immune cells in
amyloid immunotherapy induced microhemorrhage pathogenesis Explore
novel mechanisms that may contribute to toxicity risks associated
with amyloid immunotherapy Collaborate with scientists across
neuroscience and other functional areas in a highly collaborative,
multidisciplinary team environment Present findings at national and
international conferences and publish in high-quality,
peer-reviewed journals Basic Qualifications PhD in Neuroscience or
other related field Experience in in vivo dosing (IV,IP, SC), mouse
brain stereotactic surgery, in vivo two photon imaging, image
analysis Qualified applicants must be authorized to work in the
United States on a full-time basis. Lilly will not provide support

O-1, E-3, H-1B1, or L-1 Additional Skills/Preferences Background in
neurodegeneration and/or neurovascular biology research Prior
working experience with Alzheimer’s disease or other
neurodegenerative mouse models Experience in developing image
analysis workflows (Python, MATLAB, R, Imaris) Experience in
histologic post hoc brain tissue analysis (IF, IHC, RNAScope)
Experience in antibody conjugation for fluorescence dye labeling
Proficient in data analysis and presentation Excellent
communication skills (oral and written) along with a strong
publication record. Additional Information This position is not
permanent. It is for a fixed duration of two years with potential
to extend to 3 years and for maximum of up to 4 years. Lilly is

on a candidate’s education, experience, skills, and geographic
location. The anticipated wage for this position is $58,000 -
$123,200 Full-time equivalent employees also will be eligible for a
company bonus (depending, in part, on company and individual
performance). In addition, Lilly offers a comprehensive benefit
