motivated postdoctoral scientist to join the Laboratory for
Experimental Medicine (LEM). This role is a part of a
multi-disciplinary group of scientists collaborating on innovative
research, immunogenicity, and biomarker studies. Responsibilities
Drive innovation and perform hypothesis driven research to
investigate novel biomarkers and biological pathways that are
aligned with company therapeutic areas. Stay current on scientific
literature and design and implement novel approaches to expand our
knowledge and improve our understanding of biology relevant to
areas of interest. In collaboration with the Reagent, Assay
Development, Mass Spectrometry, and Antibody Engineering groups,
evaluate or supply to the evaluation of new technologies,
techniques, methods, software, and/or equipment that can add value
to our laboratory. Contribute to scientific community through
publication of high-quality peer-reviewed scientific articles and
conference presentations. Minimum Requirements Ph.D. in a
scientific field (biology, biochemistry, immunology, or similar),
Additional Preferences Strong initiative and proactive approach to
learning, innovation, and problem-solving. Desire to work in a
highly collaborative and team-oriented environment. Ability to
formulate hypotheses and perform hypothesis driven research.
Knowledge and experience with diseases and therapeutic areas that
align with company interests. Good lab techniques (for instance,
cell-based assays, enzymatic activity assays, IP/Western blotting,
and ligand binding immunoassays) and ability to generate high
quality data. Strong graduate student and publication record.
Ability to present data and clearly summarize conclusions in
written and oral forms. Ability to positively influence and mentor
other individuals. Strong interpersonal skills. Additional

duration of two years with potential to extend to 3 years. You will

on a candidate’s education, experience, skills, and geographic
location. The anticipated wage for this position is $58,000 -
$123,200 Full-time equivalent employees also will be eligible for a
company bonus (depending, in part, on company and individual
performance). In addition, Lilly offers a comprehensive benefit
