Responsibilities National homebuilder with a superb reputation as a leader and innovator in the industry is seeking a Land Project Manager for our the Midwest Land Division.?? ?? This position is responsible for conducting and managing the bidding, budgeting, contracting, engineering, permit??processing, scheduling and, site development in order to deliver finished lots on time and within budget. A Land Project Manager supports the acquisition, planning, and engineering of new ground for development. ?? Duties and??Responsibilities: Generate land development and home construction schedules Review the construction drawings and provide input to the Development Manager Manage land development field operations and act as a liaison between the field and corporate offices Manage and meet with all active civil and geotechnical engineers and active consultants Coordinate placement, delivery and furnishing of construction trailers Interface and manage issues relating to city/county Planning, Public Works, Engineering and Buildings departments as well as issues raised??by neighboring property owners Oversee construction of entry monuments, landscaping and amenities Prepare and review various reports Knowledge and Skills: Highly motivated and self-managed Excellent problem solving ability to handle complex situations High results orientation; good personal and professional judgment Team player who enjoys collaborating with various land development professionals Takes ownership of job responsibilities Adaptable and capable of adjusting strategies Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact with county officials and maintain a professional demeanor. Ability to understand site development plans Strong computer skills including MS Office, Word and Excel ?? Requirements: Bachelor's degree in related field preferred Previous land development experience from ground breaking through paving streets, or other related experience Strong background in project management Experience in engineering and/or land development Familiarity with regulatory process and a demonstrated??ability to navigate the process, a plus Excellent communication skills The typical schedule of this position will be Monday - Friday??8 AM - 5 PM, plus additional hours as necessary. ??
