Description – Pediatric Anesthesiology (Locum) Position Overview We
are seeking a Board-Certified Pediatric Anesthesiologist for a
locum tenens assignment in Dayton, Ohio , covering a maternity
leave. This is a hospital-based operating room role with a
collaborative care-team model and no call or weekend requirements.
Location Dayton, Ohio Assignment Details Assignment Type: Locum
Tenens Dates of Coverage: August 10 – November 16, 2026 Reason for
Coverage: Maternity leave Schedule: Monday–Friday | 7:00 AM – 3:30
PM Shift Type: Day shifts Weekends: Not required On-Call: None
Number of Providers Needed: 1 Practice Setting Hospital-based
operating rooms Mix of solo practice and supervision of CRNAs in a
care-team model Average 50–60 surgical cases per day No pain clinic
volume Anesthesia cart preparation not required Patient Population
Neonatal Pediatric Adolescent Adult Required Clinical Experience &
Procedures Required: General surgical cases (Neonatal, Pediatric,
Adult) Thoracic cases (excluding open heart) Complex orthopedic
cases Neurosurgical cases Ventilation management Preferred:
Pediatric pain management services (excluding cardiac & transplant)
Arterial line insertion Management of acute volume and blood
pressure issues Facility & OR Highlights Level I Trauma Center 14
operating rooms 22 anesthesiologists in practice Annual ER volume:
~70,000 Collegial OR staff including RNs, surgical techs, APPs,

Candidate Requirements Board Certified in Pediatric Anesthesiology
BLS, ACLS, and PALS (current) Active Ohio medical license ( highly
preferred ) Must meet site rate requirements Self-Query NPDB report
required at presentation Must be pulled within the same month No
adverse findings Willingness to complete fingerprinting immediately
